More Than a Place to Stay

Lush Green Retreat was conceived as a family-oriented holiday home and recreational retreat at Hasmatabad near Wandoor, South Andaman. From the beginning, the idea was broader than accommodation alone.

The estate was planned around the experience of spending time together — staying within a green setting, enjoying recreation, using open spaces, slowing down, and exploring the wider Wandoor and South Andaman destination.

That original thought was expressed in Lush Green’s historic “fun & play” language: visitors should not simply stay; they should have the opportunity to relax, explore and enjoy the place as a family.

A Landscaped Estate Near Wandoor

The Retreat extends across approximately 8.06 acres (about 32,600 sq.m) at Hasmatabad near Wandoor. Over time, the site was developed with accommodation and recreation infrastructure, landscaped grounds, internal site development, water and open areas.

Its location gives Lush Green a natural relationship with the Wandoor tourism corridor and the wider South Andaman landscape. Wandoor and other nearby destinations are presented separately from the Retreat itself, using current official information for visitor context.

This formal public identity reflects the long-standing way in which the property has been described. Earlier expressions such as “A Travel Destination & Vacation Ranch” belong to the Lush Green archive and are used only when presenting the property’s history.
